Curator Grant Barber chose three of my paintings for an exhibit at the Kirkland Art Center which opens on January 23 and will run until March 7.
"Imaginature examines how different artists create works that are inspired by nature and warped by their imagination. The works in the exhibit range from slightly altered landscapes to wild, surreal portrayals of animals. Natural imagery is manipulated in novel and exciting ways," is how the exhibit is described. I am pleased to have my works Cloudy with Chance of Teardrops (left), Optimism and Pale Twister included.
