Recent paintings of seashells and flowers in imagined settings, making up part of the March 2011 Fountainhead Gallery exhibit "Drift". The seashell not only has beautiful forms, but calls to mind associations with the body, bones, sheltering chambers, and spiraling growth patterns. Flowers also show spiraling patterns, and are light and ephemeral. Their petals have a skin-like tactility.
